right andy great side but alan browns arrival as manager and player made them better if that was possible, how much would Harry Lyon be worth today. do have quite a few programmes.

Halcyon days.......
i played in the youth team and reserves from 66 to 69 harry lyon took me under his wing....top bloke..top player !!
This was a good side but the side of 63/64 of Halsall,Houghton, Wilkinson, Crompton, Craig, Roberts, Ryan Llewllyn, Lyon, Brown, Stanley would (in my opinion) give em 3 start and still beat em. Come on you Latics
I worked at Wigan Printing Co. in the sixties and we printed the programme for Latics. Sadly though I never kept any of em. What a fool I was then. Still I've still got happy memories. I think a chap called Frank Postlthwaite was Latics secretary as he used to bring in the "hard copy" usually on Thursday before match.
im sure thats the graham hickson i played with at wigan rovers for a few years...anyone know what he,s up to now
