Front cover of the Benefit brochure for three Wigan players: Charles Seeling, Percy Coldrick and Frank Walford. Seeling was a famous All Black and member of the remarkable 1905 New Zealand Rugby Union team. He subsequently turned professional and had a distinguished career with Wigan. Coldrick was also originally a Rugby Union star with Wales. As a League player he went on the 1914 tour to Australia, playing all three tests including the famous 'Rorke's Drift Test'. Walford was a Wigan stalwart whose career lasted from 1910 until 1925.

Thanks for this Ron,someone put a photo of the 1912 Lancashire Cup Winners and the three mentioned are on it.I took a copy with permission.
Frank Walford mentioned on the front of the Benefit Brochure was my great great grandad. He lived at the Prince of Wales pub on Woodhouse lane and his wife Margaret was the landlady.
