Photograph taken during the 3rd round Lancashire Cup game played at Horwich's Grundy Hill Ground,(Now that ground did have a slope) 3rd January 1976 Latics. in shirts with stripe.

This was a 2nd round tie which Latics won 4-0 with all the goals in the first half. Here, Ray Wilkinson heads home one of his brace. Latics were in yellow with red and green stripes which manager Brian Tiler had introduced.

Nice shot of Rivington Pike in the background. Spent a lot of time climbing that in the 1940's.
