Wigan Album

There were two boxing booths visited Wigan,alternatavely I think. Sullivans from Preston and Hughes,as shown here.
Notice the young boy and Mr Hughea with a sword,
To draw a crowd,A young boy would be picked from the crowd.
and on a balcony infront of the booth would have a piece of soap placed on his tongue and Mr Hughes would cut it in two with a sword.The crowd's interest was raised and the boy got in for free(With a clean taste)
