Sorry Must be White Duck Team ( old age ! ) The one second from right is Russ Weaver .

"Spank"is Harold Thompson who played for Mawdsley and Heskin.This is definately not St.Wilf's but the Sunday league team which was based at the White Duck and later the Horseshoe.

"Brian"is Brian Holmes who played for Heskin.

Thought it strange no Dave Wilding or Trevor Siner.

I worked in Richardson's Chemists at this time. It had recently opened at 81, High St. It is now across the road in Church St., where the Doctors' Surgery used to be. Sadly, I didn't know these bonny lads; I lived in Ince at the time.....just worked in Standish, but it was homely and friendly and will always hold a special place in my heart.
