This a blast from the past, I made my debut for Earlstown FC in 1961 and Jack McGuick was the player coach,and if I recall he played for Stubshaw Cross Rovers in the 50s when they played on Edge Green
What year was this please? Also, the mention of Thomas Crompton's is interesting - was that Crompton's Recreation, or a different club? Dunc Colquhoun managed them for a while - 1949-50 perhaps? Dunc was my grandfather's cousin.
