When I was young I, like many other youngsters thought Bobby Charlton was God, a hero, someone to look up too. as an adult I performed in a comedy band and did the "After dinner circuit" on one such occasion Sir Bobby was the after dinner speaker. at the appointed time he rose to speak to the hushed audience hanging on his every word and laughing in all the right places, he was a great raconteur but to me spoiled it by sprinkling his stories with F words and references to parts of the human body (usually ladies bits)

So after that Bobby was no longer God, he had shown his true colours.. just a bloke that told smutty stories... Sorry Sir Bobby you went way down in my estimation from that day....
