Could be Ted Toohey?,Stan Jolley? Billy Blan ??? Sully and ????
Noggy on left in Kiwi shirt
oops - I meant noggy on right!
I agree it is Noggy. A very young Noggy, must have been when he first arrived about 1946. The player between Billy Blan and Sully is not on my radar Maybe Keith, can ecognise him.
Sorry, haven't a clue. Brian Nordgren arrived Dec 12th 1945 and in the 45/46 season played 6 times for first team, Ted Toohey 15 appearances, Billy Blan 8, and Stan Jolley 11. If you haven't seen Pathe newsreel footage of Stan Jolley scoring a try for Wigan at Wembley it's well worth a look, he could shift.
The "unknown" possibly could be a scrum half, if so it could be Lowe but he only made 1 appearance for Wigan in that season and there were 8 others who also only made a single game appearance, so it's a complete guess.
Thanks Keith,I remember Stsn Jolley for his bushy hair and his sidestep he only played 2/3 seasons at most,Ted Toohey was Braddy's understudy and went to Barrow, where he and the great Willie Horne created a formidable half back partnership. The unknown player, looks to be older than the others ,
