All i can say that John was a champion in Wigan in the 50s

A good friend of my late father, Jack Cockrell Jnr. I remember him and my Grandfather talking about him.

Is it the same J.Atkinson who lived in bamfolong and was a driver on the buses ( Later he had a driving school)

If they are the same they were the Rushton and Blundell cups going back at least as far as 1933.
What were for, and where the cups are now, are they still competed for?
