Wigan Album

Billy Blan (on right), photographed here at an evening Wigan match at Central Park, sometime in the late 1990's with a fellow ex-colleague, Jack Bowen (in centre), along with the all time great Billy Boston. It was an evening when Billy Boston was being honoured for his fantastic contribution to the club, unfortunately can't remember the details precisely, but other players were also invited on to the pitch at half-time to be introduced. I think it was at a time when the club were trying to repair years of "neglect" to former players, a job I think they successfully achieved, don't know if others agree.
