I should know who Gordon Rimmer is but I must be haveing a seniors moment.

Are the Gregory's, Andy's Dad and Uncle.
Gordon Rimmer played for Wigan before WW2, left for Waterloo, and very quickly was capped by England.

JP Quinn was capped for England 5 times in 1954

I think the J P Quin was pat Quin who went to play Rugby League for Leeds and briefly for Wigan at the end of his career

Yes .AB, JP Quinn played 2 games for Wigan RL and scored a try, 1959-60 season.
