This is the scene in the dressing room after Wigan had defeated Waterloo 9-3 in the Lancashire Cup at Douglas valley in 1975.

I think Frank was in the Navy Horace because every window he cleans looks like a porthole!

There's only 14 players on the photo Martin who's missing ? It can't be you, you would only have been 10 when this was taken. Did Frank count as two players ?

I wish we had a photo of you being hit with an umbrella when we played New Brighton years ago Joe. Now that really would have been a classic!

It was 1974 not 1975 (November I think) and the score was 11-6. Eddie Gallagher & Yours Truly got the tries and Alan Nye kicked a penalty. John Heaton played a blinder and John Gee won 3 scrums 'against the head' when were hanging on in the closing minutes.

Dave Reid died aged 63. Very sad his funeral is tomorrow (21/1/14) at St Michaels 1 30

This photograph brings back some memories and some characters. Has anyone kept in touch with Dave Swarbrick ?
