Back row 7th from left. Must be Gordon Holliday. He was in Crawford House at WGS. I usually see him at Wigan Cricket Club at our Annual Dinner. It's 60 years ago. Seems like yesterday!!!!

front row: Rob Wilkinson, Johnny Ashton & Tony Wright (Boardy must have been injured that day!)

No no no Boardy isn't on this photo in 1953 he was having the first of his knee replacements, think it was made of Bakelite.

1953?
Alan Doran was already in the vets and Rammy was contemplating retirement for the first time!

Hadn't Neddy already retired by then ?

Looks like a young looking Scotty, front row second left.

have to correct you Martin but third left back row should that not be Alan Atherton and not M.Atherton?

Martin. Is the gentleman extreme left, back row any relation to you? The reason I ask is that he is the double of a young Dave Rigby whom I used to knock about with in the early 1970's.

It is his, and my, father. He was Captain 1951-52. Unfortunately he died in 1960 before David was 2.
