Derek Temple was instrumental in giving me this best day of my life. When Everton beat Sheffield Wednesday in the 1966 F.A. Cup Final. I was stood behind the opposite goal from where Derek scored the winning goal. From being 2-0 down and coming back to win 3-2... MAGIC MOMENT.

I did my national service with Derek 1958/60 in formby and kenya, same intake play,d in the same regimental team together for 2 years, nice guy
