Hya Fred, thought it was, trying to figure out where the house in the background is,could it be ferguson rise?my eldest brother(deceased now)i think played a few games for the club,we moved into drummond square and the club was derelict and was later bulldozed in the early 60,s,brings back some memories, cheers for that.
Hi Fred,is the lad between the Goalie and Keith Moss John Boardman?.
thanks for that tom, dont like to leave anyone out.but it was a long time ago
Worsley Boys Club was the first place I ever went dancing in the 50s. I remember we used to sweat cobs and the floor was wet through at the end of the night.
If this is Worsley Boys club why is it under Wigan Boys club?
if anyone can change it to heading WORSLEY BOYS CLUB they can do a friend put it on for me in which i was very grateful.
Far better than the Wolves Douglas? in 1958 the Wolves team won the FA Youth Cup beating Chelsea in the final, and the Division 1 side weren't that bad either under their manager Stan Cullis. Good choice of team strip I think.
johnb, you must have missed the 'lol' at the end of my earlier post.
I can't believe I'd forgotten that memorable Wolves Youth sides victory back in '58. It's still talked about all over Wigan lol
Well said Douglas.
