This photo was taken from the bridge where Wiganers went to get a free veiw of the match.I was a season ticket holder,but in my youth this was a busy spot.

So much history here, and yes we should never have sold this to Tesco, but unfortunately, the rouges that sold it lined their own pockets. Although the DW is a great stadium we will never recapture the atmosphere of those days when central park was filled to capacity, very sad.

WHOLE HEARTEDLY AGREE THE DAY THAT WAS THE CLOSE OF THE "PARK" WAS THE LAST TIME I WATCHED WIGAN RUGBY LEAGUE LIVE, COULD NOT COME TO TERMS WITH THE WHELAN GROUND
