Wigan Rugby League 1961-62
Wow, great memory, I grew up as neighbour with Billy Sayer and his siblings and went on to become a young press photographer in 1960. I had many images published of all these guys during those years, when I worked at McConnel News Service, of Addison Chambers, Wallgate, (above Gordon Isherwood's shoe shop. Thanks for the memory

ONE THING STICKS OUT FROM THIS PHOTO FOR ME IS TRULY WAS A SUPERB TEAM, BUT THEY ALL HAD TO DO A WEEKS WORK BEFORE PLAYING ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON TRUE HEROES!!!!!!!!!
