i see thay went on walls coaches thay wer allways breaking downi went 1965 thay broke down on the m1

I think this was the year a coach,bound for Wembley , crashed at Scholes crossing.A lady from Bottling Wood was killed.

Was that the one that crashed into a newspaper shop?

Yes it was a newsagents. Ken Gubbins , I'am almost certain.

Remember going with my Dad on a coach trip to see that match.
We went to see the Dome of Discovery and the Skylon.
Imagine the problems we had with a name like ours at that match.
We won and lost!!!!

Tommy Walsh's comments are right I think. I lived in Chestnut Road at he time and remember how the neighbours were affected by the tragedy. If my pal Ken had seen this photo he would have verified the year as he was a passenger on that coach!
