this photo was in a house clearance it depicts a group of Wigan RL fans(I think) going to Wembley on May 1st 1948 when they played and beat Bradford Northern 8-3

Eunice, there is a photo (I have one) of this train at Springs Branch before it set off for London (Wembley)
It has all the workmen on it.
I'm sure it's been posted on here previously but I can't find it now.
Maybe someone else can find it.
Great to see the engine again.
