Wiganworld has been sent this photograph by Ken Sanz from Australia. He is hoping someone could give him some information about it. i.e. names where it was taken, and what date.

There was a club called Newton White Stars, known as Newtown WS, but that's Newtown, Powys not Newtown , Wigan

Hi Bob thanks for the info. I've passed the info. on. However it seems the relative who he got the photograph from, was born in Wigan in 1888, and he is supposed to be on the photograph.? I've just e.mailed him to ask if the family has any connection with Wales.
