Frank Wignall no8 for horwich and John Bramwell for Latics both sighned for Everton a bit after this match, Frank then went to Notts Forest and went on to play for England. John went to Luton from Everton

Frank Wignall served an apprenticeship at De Havillands Lostock
John Bramwell played for Garswood in Wigan Sunday School League---Juniors and Intermediates in the early 50's.
