Wigan Album

A photo taken in Beech Hill Avenue as Wigan celebrate their 1959 Wembley victory against Hull, by parading the Challenge Cup around the Wigan suburbs. Eric Ashton is holding the Cup, he missed the 1958 Cup celebrations along with Dave Bolton, Brian McTigue and Mick Sullivan since they had to leave the party in London as they headed off for the GB tour of Australia. However I can see them all here except Mike Sullivan, also present Joe Egan, Norman Cherringto and Keith Holden (I think).
