Third division title I think. When scholes finished the reserves carried on playing and formed st patricks.I joined in the second season,your ged played and also your dave.Later they changed back to scholes

I only see Platty cos he does our roof at work,been to a few dos where ive seen a few of them, ray davies,mick lawrence, john hayes etc do you work in St helens?

Your right Chris the shield was for winning the 3rd division ,We later went on to win the Hilton Cup,We where pretty average really but we dident half have a good laff especially on our away trips in the northern cup ,when if drawn at home our pitch was somehow always unfit so we had to reverse the fixture.Keep care mate hows your nicky doing with his injury

Our Nickys not too bad Rob he thinks he may be back next season I hope he is. I dont half miss them saturdays rob, I always said we might not be the best team, but by christ were the ugliest

I played for ST. Pats from 1950 to 1960 and we won fourteen medals in ten years ( Has any body any photo's of this decade Frank Fielding was the Captain and later he was the Landlord of the Pear Tree pub in Frog Lane)Some other lad I can Remember are Joe Anderton/Bert Prior/ Jimmy Finney/Tommy Tate/ Lesie Jones/Brian Coneley/Jack Jolley/JackJohnson/. Mr. Coneley was the Manager
