That is Terry Gaskell on the back row with the beard. Did he not become the Landlord in later years?

I played football for Scholes with Bob Disley, nice bloke him.

Eddie, is that you Graham? I remember Bob Disley being manager of Scholes along with Ray Seddon but don't remember Bob playing.

Yes Jay it's me, Bob was manager with Ray Seddon but they both played on a couple of occasions. I believe you were at Hindley a few months ago, I was in that day but only got the message that you wee there when it was too late.

Bob disley & ray seddon both played for scholes when i played. bob took over from george gaskell. ste platts got a picture of scholes about 1983 with bob & ray, myself,platty,ithink ste jordan, ray davies jeff wills.looks like laithwaite park

I think I may have the same photo, is Dave Holmes on it as well as Jay's brother Ged? They were a great bunch of lads.

Just checked my photo, it is the actual reporter clipping dated 12th March 1987. Any chance Steve can post his copy, I don't have a scanner. By the way CP, I feel guilty because I can't figure out who you are, I can't name a lot of the faces on the photo either.

Graham ive just put that photo in the sports section under scholes utd, put names to all except one, remember him but not his name. also put one in from later under st pats with some familiar faces. A few dodgy tashes knocking about Chris
