Supplied by Brian Moseley. His father, Jesse, of Lower Ince is on the back row, squared. Obviously taken outside a pub somewhere..., in the 1920s.

The player stood on the back row, second from the left, is my grandfather, John Trowbridge. The pub is The Platelayers on Wallgate, Wigan.

There was also a football club called West End Stars in the 1890's
