Supplied by Brian Moseley. The goalkeeper is his father, Jesse Moseley, of Lower Ince. He is sporting his Winner's Medal on his jersey. Behind him, over his left shoulder, is non-player John Round, who later married a teacher from St Mary's School, Ethel Bophy... now in her 100th year. Under St Mary's AFC a number of other shields won in the Wigan & District Sunday Schools' Amateur Association Football League are shown. The Shield here is yet another different one.
