St Mary's Ince Football Team. This is St Mary's own copy of a similar photograph sent early this year by Allan Greenwood. I am re-submitting it to appear next to the one of the Laithwaite Shield winners so that their similarities show up - same background, same officials, which point to it being on the same day. It will also be followed by scans of the Winners' Medals of one of the players, Horace Valentine, one of which testifies that the team won the Reserve Shield in 1936-37 - the same year as the 1st Team won the Laithwaite Shield.
