It does seem that I am posting more Kehoes than Millers in this section recently! But as I said before, they were part of my growing up.

I have no idea to be honest, I will ask my Aunt Et, she did live on Lily Lane with Mrs Kehoe for a time.

It was always Mrs to us but her name was Nellie
I have found out that she is my nana florries mum, my great grandma.
Christine, I can remember her as a very lovely lady, and I use the term lady wisly. Maybe it is the passage of years that may be fooling me.. but I never knew her to get angry or annoyed at anyone.
this was my grandmother Mary Helen Kehoe (1896-1974) she was born in Hindley and lived most of her life at 164 Lily Lane, Platt Bridge. I remember Father Kennedy of Holy Family always called her a saint and also Cardinal Heenan coming to the house to bless it.She was indeed lovely and a brilliant cook!this is the only picture of her i have ever had so thanks for posting it!
