My paternal Grandmother Alice with my Uncle George. Taken c.1980 in Car Street, Platt Bridge. The building in the background is the old tram sheds on Tram Street, at the time Webster's Timber Works.

H.S. Webster was a demolition contractor, as a matter of fact I helped Geoff, his son, to clear Pendleburys fire damaged goods from the store to Aye Bridge Farm, Abram in 1953 after the fire

I remember the Miller family.They lived in the end house on Carr St, also the Kehoes from Lily Lane too
