Taken on the path of Nana Tattum's house 525, Atherton Road, Hindley Green, C1949. This was dad's first motorbike. It was ex War Dept and he bought it from Kings in Salford.Kings used to buy ex government stock and respray the bikes in Royal Enfield colours. Thirty years later I worked across the road from the site of the Kings showroom, in Salford Royal Hospital,

Yes she did. She she is now Brenda Smith and still lives in Hindley Green. Kindest regards, Keith

I suppose it was my uncles enthusiasm for motorcycles that rubbed onto me. As a youngster he used to take me to Oulton Park for the Motor Cycle races,to see Bob Mcintyre and the likes and the bug bit. My father Norman wouldn't let me have a Motorcycle so I was 28 before I learned how to ride them with the Lancashire Police Traffic Department and I couldn't wait. Here I was getting paid for something that I really loved,and this opened up a whole new world to me.
