Wigan Album

My Mum, Margaret Merrill(nee Smith) is on the right in the photograph.I posted her a copy of the photo as I now live in Sussex. Margaret still lives in Wigan with her husband, Ken. She said that the photo brought back many happy memories. She remembers you, Edith but can't remember the other young lady. Have you got a name for her please?

The girl on the left is Eileen May.She lived in Acton Street,but emigrated to New Zealand,but don't know if she returned.I now live in Chorley.

Hi, Mum isn't on the internet but I've passed your messages on by phone. She does remember Eileen May but didn't recognise her from the photo.

Thanks for your responce.We go to Wigan fairly regulary,you never know we may meet you Mum sometime.I hope you were happy seeing your mum in her younger days.
