Thank you so very much for this photo Peter, I remember visiting uncle Bill {Newtown?} and Granville in Rhyll. I have been trying to put my own photos on of Grandpa maybe you could be of help?

And to think my dad could have been Anthony Oswald! I wonder were the Michael came from?

Marvellous photograph. Curious.... is this connected with the James Mason Singers (The Bethel?)

Yes Fert they were the Mason singers and belonged to Bethel. The next generation down was my dad Anthony and his brothers Bryan and Peter, although I'm not sure if uncle Bryan was actually in the Mason singers. Maurice was my Grandpa. I remember travelling around to different Chapels on Sundays whilst they sang. Maurice Monk from Bethel also sang with them. Us kids used to play in the gardens and there was always a 'Sunday School' tea! Many happy memories.
