I am helping a Rothwell descendant with their family tree. The entire Rothwell family was born in Wigan.

Mary "Molly" Rothwell married Zaragoza Aguilar in 1945 in Wigan District. On her death certificate her birthdate was given as 16 May 1923. I did find a Mary Rothwell being born in Wigan with mother Corless and father Rothwell.

From working backwards, I did find a gentlemen James Rothwell born 1894 Wigan marrying Mary Jane Corless B 1903 Wigan. On Mary's death certificate here in Texas, no mother's name was given but it was thought that a father named John Rothwell was her parent.

Any ideas? Thanks again.

Have been working the tree backwards making James Rothwell her father and mother Mary Corless...it appears that this Rothwell family has lived in Wigan since the 1841 English Census. Thanks for any help!
