This is not Wigan but Hindley. It is/was on the corner of Bridge Street and Deansgate.
Jeremy do you know when the shop closed down, it was my Uncles ?

My Uncles sister worked there for years, I think her name was Winnie Baron...My Uncles name was Arthur Baron.

This was my Uncle Harry-s shop I served my time from aged 15- 21 to become a fully fledged time-served painter & Decorator-- not many of us left now unfortunately-- have fond memories pity times have changed.
Hi Phillip do you know a Denis Critchley who was Harry's nephew worked there late 50's early 1960's and now living in Perth WA ?
