Grandparents Dennis ?
No Walt, this is the Platt Bridge side of the Sutch family.
Sutch is not a very common name. I remember a David Sutch who was a drummer from the Hindley area. This would be in the 1970's Would he be any relation to Margaret and Albert Sutch?
Dennis have you any SUTCH family relatives?? There is a woman from the USA looking for Sutch family members..
Yes Ron she as been in touch with me and we have exchanged emails.
She is doing a great job with that album. What a great find to come across!
I worked with a chap called Albert Sutch in the fitting shop at Parsonage Colliery. About 1964/65 ish. He was the shop cleaner and labourer. He lived in Bickershaw Lane, Platt Bridge.
Regards my last comment. It was not Albert Sutch I worked with it was Oliver Sutch.
It was Oliver Sutch I worked with at Kirkless Workshops, New Springs. He lived in Standish Lower Ground. Sorry about the mix up it was a long time ago.
There was a Peter Sutch in my form at school (HAGS),I think he was from the Platt Bridge area.
They look ‘such ‘ a lovely couple and well colourised.
New photo for me. I’m their grandson and lived with Margaret (and my parents) till I turned 7. Albert had died 1942, weakened by gassing in the Great War.
