Yes, It’s nice to see old photos like these of the past although a lot of times sadly they don’t come with names and dates but it’s still good to see them.

My paternal Grandmother was a Farnworth. She lived in Ince Green Lane. Don't know if she was any relation though.

Were they the Farnworth that lived in Browning Avenue Goose Green if so I used to work with Edna at Taylors Carpets Wigan

Yes Edna was my Nan, she did live on browning avenue.

John, don’t think they where related to these Farnworths on Ince green lane but when I did my family history on the Catterall side there where another family of farnworths that I think lived in that area.

John & MrsM Thanks for the posts, but no, they never lived in Browning ave. I think the family came from Bolton originally.
