Will these times return. Taking national holidays?.

A return to any type of holiday would be good at the moment !!!

I'm so pleased Albert didn't use that dreadful neologism , 'staycation'.

If only we had the glorious weather - it would not be a problem! No need to chase the sun in foreign climes. I don't know whether I am looking through rose coloured spectacles or not - but it always seemed lovely and warm in the 50'60 s' . I often wonder if it's the pollution from traffic that has affected the weather cycles.

Just given another whirl of Gladys Knights version of The Way We Were, Veronica. The intro includes 'the winters were warmer' … 'the grass was greener' … . And I love the way she says warmer - wawmur.
