Photograph of the ARMSTRONG family who perished at sea involving a U boat as they were returning to Wigan. Does anyone have any more details of this tragic event?

Ron.
Mrs Armstrong and her children had been onboard 'The Yorkshire', having been sent home from India by her husband Company Sergeant Major Horace Armstrong, at the outbreak of War. Young Kenneth had been the only survivor.

Hi, I believe that Kenneth is my grandad (Peter Armstrong)'s father and was wondering if anyone had anymore information about this family as he has nothing about his fathers side. Would be grateful for any information you can share
