I recognise my old mate Eric O'Neil as captain. We played on the same rugby team at John Rigby.

i too played with eric at john rigby a fine stand off. the lad on the back row third from left looks like peter farrell

I think Peter Farrell (Andy's dad} is 5th from left on the back row, could be wrong though.

I remember playing against this team when I was at St Benedict's, Hindley. We'd only just started out, and we played St Pat's at their ground. They absolutely destroyed us! They passed the ball like professionals.

the tall lad is tony frain i they had a good team played for st josephs in 60/61 amd he was in the pats team hard player to tackle they used to ply on the chemic at the side of the cut what a crazy pitch ! ball kept gooin int cut!
