The girl on the left looks like one of the Nickolas girls. girls.
good pic, early 1970's i reckon judging by the fashion!
I lived in Ince but worked in Standish in the early 70s, and I agree about the fashions.
They look like they're having harmless fun, which in today's clueless world would be seen as 'anti-social'. I bet they were decent lasses and didn't gob off like the vast majority of young people do today, all the young uns do today is constantly use the F word in every sentence or some other word that's just as vulger, and that doesn't matter if they're from a wealthy and poor background. TV and films are partly to blame for that I think.
Agreed! I walked behind a man and two women in their twenties this morning, pushing a child of about one in a buggy, and a little lad of about three walking alongside. All three adults were using the F word as if it were normal language. What chance do those little children have? My son is 37, married with two children, and he DAREN'T let me hear him swear!
Al/ Irene, Agree with you both country is getting full of Scum bags most of them get it off there parents.
I agree with Al, Irene and Jim. I remember the time when, if a man swore within the hearing of a woman, he apologised. . . and no, I'm not 90 years old! Boy how things have changed. . . for the worse.
