Kids "rough and ready " Annie Davies, my wife's mother, 4th from right top row. Look at their clogs two even had irons missing, probably due to "sparking" The good old day's eh!

John B, thanks for your comment I also love these pics, we got them back in 1996 when my wife's uncle passed away, this is one way of allowing others like yourself to enjoy them. What makes this photo more interesting is the fact that some of these children would perhaps, have lost a parent in WW1 and times would have been unbelievably hard for them.

Great to see all the children of Mawdsley Street together. Sadly, it would be unheard of today, and to take a photo would be nothing short of a hanging offence!!
