I remember it well Helmut the lad with the ball became a good friend for a short while.They were great days in the scouts learning about life skills and having fun.Loch Goil head also introduced us to the local midge population.I am the tall lanky one having a bad hair day (afro gone wrong?)

We had just beaten the Germans at 5 a side.
3rd from the left on the back is Mark Holland and on the front row l - r is David Shirley ,Damien McEntaggart ,Vic Singleton and Kevin Webb.
We spent 10 days in Scotland(got bitten to death with midges )and 4 days in Ashton. The German scouts said it should have been the other way round as they enjoyed the hospitality and attractions of Ashton so much.
If Roland Graf still visits Wigan world I`m sure he`ll name the German scouts
great photo but not sure about the hair styles. correct spelling is damian mcentegart. I'm sure i scored a hat trick that day :)
Yes Mark that is some hairstyle. Is it long gone like mine?
