My grandmother Mrs Mary Short, born 1863, and died in 1950. aged eighty seven years. She was working in Whitechapel, London, when Jack the Ripper was active. From 1900, until her death, she lived at No1, or No2 Raven Street, Higher Ince. The house was the first house on the right as you entered from Ince Green Lane. I do not know when the photograph was taken.
