Good photograph,my great grandmother lived in Bolton St.around the same time. Her name was Brown and then Nolan. She was into her 90's when she died. Her house was halfway down on the left hand side just a few houses from the pub where she went for a Guinness or three most nights.
Tommy, I think you are right about the studio look at the legs on the seat also, there probably was just a few photographers around back then. Our grandparents must have know each other. ROLO69 do you have any pics of Bolton St, I would dearly like to see one. 'thanks'

Hi everyone, it was Bolton St, Scholes, (not Ince) Grandad and Grandmother lived in Bolton St all their married life. grandad I always believed, lost his leg in a mining accident and the compensation money allowed him to buy a little shop at No36 Bolton St.

Hi Zoe, Edward was my mothers dad, my granddad, I don't remember ever there being a mention of a Thomas Davies. I think that he had three sisters and two brothers if memory serves me well, one of his brothers went to live in USA I understand.
