This could have been a bus trip from the Royal top Castle Hill? only sure Uncle Thomas Banks is on it the dark faced one,
Any one see anyone they know?

the only one i know for sure,is front row r h side abaraham
haliwell he was a crown green bowler (died a long time ago)
his son who is close to 80 still bowls and his grandson bowls

third from left at back looks like e wharton ,front row on right a haliwell(dead)who used to be a bowler,mr wharton still bowls

back row was the owner of Westhoughton dog track 1960s

Fella between the cups is my uncle Cliff Mason man behind him is Jimmy Brennan and Tony Eastaway behind Jimmy.

This will be The Royal, it was my dad's local (Bill Aldridge) glasses top right. The cups are the RFL Challenge Trophy and the Lancashire Challenge Trophy - year I'm assuming 1951/52

The man on the extreme left with a flat cap on is my grandad George Bennett, who lived in Marsh Brook and who was a regular at the Royal until he moved to Suffolk in his final years to live with my auntie.
