Thanks for the comments Sheila You'd have thought the RN would have been for me. Never mind. X Maggie, I used to love going to Mint Cottage where my grandparents lived. It was a schoolboy's dream and adventure playground. I still miss it so much today as I do the old Scholes. Look after yourself Maggie.

What was Mint Cottage John.

Hi Maggie, Mint Cottage is where my grandparents lives with their six children, Alan, my dad, Edna, Ernie, Lillian, Billy and Olive. Next left in Scholes after Molyneux St was Mint Court which led to some properties and Mint Cottage was the last dwelling before coming to Primrose Hill. The stone wall of Mint Cottage small holding ran down the side of Primrose Hill to the stone steps at the bottom leading into Regent St which was off Greenhough St.
