Did they have any brothers or male cousins of the same name, they, would be easier to trace, having kept their surnames and would no doubt be able to assist.

No brothers or cousins with the same name that I know of, I have had a reply to the same message in the communicate section from a Geoff Charnock who is a member on here letting me know that he is her cousin and had made contact with her, see the post in communicate under the same heading LOOKING FOR AN OLD FRIEND

Please let us all know HERE, on this photo how you went on and if you had a reunion. The other post is difficult to find.

Hi Linda, glad to help. Hello Dave, nice to be remembered, hope you are ok and enjoying retirement, I retired in 2006 have to say you went at the right time.

I am happy to say that I had the opportunity to catch up with Susan on my recent visit to Wigan, we met up for coffee and a good 3 hour chat in town, it had been 51 years since we last saw each other, thanks to her cousin on Wigan world for making that initial phone call to her, to make her aware that I was trying to find her
