Fascinating. Ted Degnan was my grandfather. My mum has uncle Joe who must be your grandfather. So we, what, third cousins?
Hi Margaret, I have been looking for information about Tommy Degnan so great to see the photo. I am in a group who is trying to get a memorial for the men from the Wigan area who fought in the Spanish Civil War. Tommy is one of them who will have his name on the memorial to be unveiled in Wigan centre. Please email me if you have any more information.
Thanks
