That veil is beautiful.
Catherine,I was just about to say the same thing..isn't it gorgeous.
Lovely photo. What is the date (handy for anyone trying to date unknown pics by being able to compare fashions etc). Thanks for posting
mum and dad got married 1930 to help you put a date to it ,thanks for your lovely comments.I am trying to make family albums of all the pics I have and keep coming across the old pics.
Gladys, did your parents get married at St Nathaniel's? This photo is so lovely. My parents had a wartime wedding and mum couldn't get enough points for a white dress.
just look at theire boqueits thin i spelled that wrong.
Know what you mean. My mum sent away for a wedding dress for her 1940 wedding, using war coupons she had saved up here in Australia, and the coupons apparently "never arrived". As my mum used to say, they would have been stolen in the post, so sad.. So she somehow managed to try again and got her wedding dress in time for her wedding ! Picture posted under Lewis on WW. :)
Woops! Sorry, should have said "Wood" not Lewis. Mother was a Lewis, her mother was a Wood. Keeping all this ancestry stuff sorted is getting a bit taxing for my brain.
