What a lovely photograph, and I think taken at the same time as I was part of St John's (Pemberton) walking day. I still have my lovely little pink 'headgear' (don't know what it was called) but the little pink gloves disappeared over time ...

I was always a bit of a Tom-boy, climbing, playing football or rugby etc, so can't imagine how my mother got me to wear the beautiful outfit, or keep it clean for that matter. I wonder if the cobbled street is still there, I know the church and school were knocked down.
